22 October 2004 11:44

If you’re a sci-fi fan boy you’re gonna love this. Cheers to Jam.

“Someone has spent A LOT of time on this, I’m sure. Pretty interesting though. It shows all of the well-known starships from various popular Sci Fi film and television shows TO SCALE.”

Man On Fire

3 October 2004 15:26

Went to see a preview screening of the new Denzel Washington film, Man On Fire this morning. In short, it’s excellent, a must see.

Denzel plays Creasy a former Marine who swears vengeance on those who committed an unspeakable act against the family he was hired to protect. Based in Mexico City he is bodyguard to Pita (Dakota Fanning).

The plot is clever and keeps you involved all the time, probably the best film I’ve seen this year, and one of the best I’ve seen Washington in. It’s about 2 and half hours but it’s well worth it. Released in the UK this Friday.

Revenge Of The Sith

26 July 2004 16:52

As you’ll have probably seen by now, the next Star Wars film has it’s official title. Revenge Of The Sith. Looking forward to seeing what they do with this one. The original 3 are of course better, though the new “prequels” do fill a hole and the transformation to Vader should be good. Now all we have to do is wait until May 19, 2005.

Shrek 2

26 June 2004 16:50

Whilst we’re on a film theme, you really should (if you haven’t already) go and see Shrek 2. It’s really funny, there are some many references to other films and mickey takes it’s great.

The kids may love the graphics and stuff but adults certainly will benefit from the jokes and film references, definitely one to get on DVD once released. Amazon have a page where you can get notified of the release.

Oh and look out for the Burger King logo.

Zoolander

19 March 2004 6:27

Possibly one of the worst films ever. It’s shocking bad, though it is amusing but in a so bad it’s amusing style. Written, directed, produced and starred in by Ben Stiller I feel he should keep to the acting. Hoping Starsky and Hutch this weekend is going to be better!

Not who they seem…

3 March 2004 8:46

Do you ever wonder about famous people who do other famous voices that no-one realises? Well, I didn’t, until today. Jam posed the question after recently watching an episode of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

“Where have I heard Shredders voice before?” after a little searching around on the net, the answer has been revealed, and it’s something we believe should be shared with you, the world.

The voice of Shredder is infact and was Philip Banks from the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air… oh yes! Don’t believe it check out:

You got one? Let me know! (PS I’ll sort the comments bit soon so it works!)
