Take it as Reading

17 February 2006 12:50

The mighty Royals continue to reign over the championship and interestingly have “accumulated the most points, won the most games and tasted defeat the fewest times of any of the teams in the top four divisions so far this season.” (From BBC News)

I think that the 106 point record achievable and would make this by far the Royals best season, and, they deserve it.

Come on you Royals!!!

Brit Awards 2006: The winners

15 February 2006 23:01

So the Brits have been and gone and I’m very happy that the Arctic Monkeys won best breakthrough act. They deserve it. Also some good wins for Kaiser Chiefs, Greenday and KT Tunstall.

For once I can say I actually agree with most of the awards!

AVG Free Edition

14 February 2006 21:37

Rebuilt my PC, again, recently and need to put a virus scanner back on. I’ve been using Norton for the last 4/5 years but each year it gets bigger and bigger taking more disk space and more memory up so was looking for alternatives. I had recommend to me AVG from Grisoft and after some hunting I found the link to the free edition. So far I can say I’m impressed, seems to be just fine, certainly doesn’t slow the machine down like Norton 2006 did!!

We Will Rock You

13 February 2006 20:38

Saw We Will Rock You up at The Dominion in London on Saturday night and, well, it ROCKED!

All the cast we awesome, particularly the women who played Scaramouche, what a set of pipes! My god she could sing. The lead man playing Galilieo was also very good.

The elements on Ben Eltons humour definatly show through, but, it’s a good thing. If you like Queen I strongly recommend you go see it, it is expensive but, well worth it.
