I wrote this a couple of years back but it’s only just made it round to getting back on the site.
It’s a customtag called cf_dir which is an enhancement of cfdirectory and basically lets you filter on more than one filetype.
<cf_dir
basedir=“C:inetpubwwwroot”
exts=“htm,cfm,asp”
queryname=“dirContents”>
All the attributes should be fairly self explanitory. You can download the code (right click and save as) or view the code.

Seems Google are out to take over the world. In an article on CNET News.com it announces they’ve hired Ben Goodger, the Lead Engineer for Mozilla Firefox. Should be interesting to see what happens.
On another note, Google have launched yet another tool, Google Video (beta) which lets you “search recent TV programs online”.

If you’re running on UNIX and are interested in .NET for some crazy reason, you might like to have a look at Mono.
Taken from their site:
“Mono is a comprehensive open source development platform based on the .NET framework that allows developers to build Linux and cross-platform applications with unprecedented productivity. Mono’s .NET implementation is based on the ECMA standards for C# and the Common Language Infrastructure.”
Will be interesting to see how this progresses and see if M$ go and jump on them or more unlikely help them. Not sure they can jump on it and stop them, but I’m sure they’ll try.

If you have used CFMX and tried invoking webservices in any flavour, .NET, JAVA, CFML you’ll have probably noticed that CF has an annoying (yet probably handy) habit of caching the stubs, so, if the webservice signature changes CFMX doesn’t regonise those changes.
If it’s a CF webservice you can use the administrator to delete the reference it creates and remove the stub, also a full server restart will clear the stubs. Neither of these are always possible (hosted environment for example) so you need to clear the stub’s somehow else. Brandon Purcell has a very handy post titled Refreshing Web Service Stubs in ColdFusion MX, which does exactly that.

Never really been tempted to buy a MAC, but, having seen the announcement of the new Mac Mini I’m now very tempted.
At £339 ($499) it may happen yet.
