Off to Paris tomorrow morning for a long Valentines weekend break. Should be good, never been before so looking foward to it. Think we’ll go down to Disney for a day as well as it’s only 30 minute on the train from the (Gare De Nor) station. Hopefully get some good pics of “stuff” and from the top of the Eiffel Tower.

To buy or not to buy, well more to the point, which one to buy. Additional “40GB 9.5mm IDE Hard Drive Media Bay Module (Kit)” or get a new disk caddy and replace the main system disk in my laptop. Oh the decisions!

MovableType version 2.661 has been released, so having just upgraded to 2.65 I thought I may as well go to 2.661. Nothing major is different, a security fix pretty much.
Whilst doing this I’ve also started to finally get the old defusionx content onto the site. I’m going to use MovableType to manage this content as well, using Brad Choate’s method. One change can be made to his guide though now that 2.65 has been released. There is a standard tag MTIfNonEmpty which can be used to replace Brad’s MTIfEmtpy plugin.
For users on 2.65+ when setting the Individual Entry Archive filename template, you can now use:
<$MTEntryCategory lower_case=“1″$><MTIfNonEmpty tag=“EntryCategory”>/</MTIfNonEmpty><$MTEntryTitle dirify=“1″$>.html
Still working on the static content, mainly the menu, but should be sorted soon.

Discovered this lying around on my hard disk as I was doing a routine tidy up. Couldn’t remember what it was so popped over to Google and did a search for it. Off to the home page and I downloaded the latest version 3.03. If all goes well this post should appear, having been posted from w.bloggar.For those not in the know, basically w.blogger is a program you can run on Windows which allows you to post to a whole load of blog programs, including MovableType, Blogger and LiveJournal. Hopefully they’ll be a Linux version along soon as well!

Now I’m not going to get into the argument that the war on Iraq was almost certainly wrong and George Bush is a muppet (see what i’ve done there
), instead I’m going to point you at a few sites I’ve found about Iraq and what’s going on.I found the blog, Where is Raed ?, a while ago and went back to it today and had a read. It’s a really good view of what’s really going on not we’re told is going on.Couple of other sites I picked of interest.

David Blaine is a hugely annoying pain in the arse. I really don’t like him, but imagine my excitement at the chance to shoot him! (not in real life of course, that’s a bit wrong)Go check out the Blaine Game

OK, now some of you may and some of you may not have heard of Googlewhack and of course Googlewhacking, either way, it’s highly amusing. Somewhat made famous I suppose by Dave Gorman (a very funny man, with a beard) in his show.Off on a quick tangent, Dave’s show, his “Googlewhack Adventure”, was absolutely brilliant, hilarious and very very good. Pretty sure the tour has finished now but I saw it back on Dec 3rd up at the Apollo in London with my girlfriend and couldn’t stop laughing. If you did miss it there is of course a book (Dave Gorman’s Googlewhack Adventure) which is available now.Anyway, back to Googlewhacking, it’s in short the idea that you go off to google.com, put in 2 words (and only 2) which are both real and must be listing in dictionary.com and when you search they bring bring only 1 result. See now you’re thinking I can do that, well, off you go then…For full details check the official site.
